The Power Of Storytelling
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Wednesday Dec 14, 2022
Our stories connect us and are a great way to share our experiences. From a young age, we learn through our stories as they are the way humans transmit messages across generations and cultures.
They have the power to connect, inspire, educate, make us laugh, and make us cry.
And it is a powerful way to make your content much more human.
Unfortunately, many people hide their stories away In the business world, there is a fear of judgment or the belief that no one will care, but that is simply not true.
We all have stories to tell and there is someone out there that needs to hear your story.
In this episode, I talk with Emma Loveday, an online visibility and content marketing coach. She helps her clients become impossible to miss through the power of storytelling. She is also an advocate for mental health and often shares stories about her struggles with social anxiety.
During our chat we discuss:
how Emma overcame her social anxiety
learning to say yes to yourself
how storytelling can help you build an emotional connection with your audience! And, YES you do have stories to share!

getting past the discomfort of marketing your business
how to show up online in a way that works for you
This episode is perfect for you if you are planning to launch or grow your business in 2023.

Are you feeling lost and disconnected in business and life?
The internet and social media give us ways to connect with a global audience, with many people using these platforms to raise awareness of societal issues and challenges.
However, being active online all the time can be very overwhelming as you try to break through all the white noise cat memes, and influencers selling you this month's magic bullet. As a result, many people hide in the shadows, put on masks, and even start feeling depressed and disconnected.
Join me for this hour-long episode, where I speak with Chris Williams, a LinkedIn social media marketing expert. He also does a lot to raise awareness of mental health.
We ditched the BS and had some very honest conversations about:
showing up online in a way that works for you
filtering through the BS online
the power of sharing with purpose
the dangers of being fake online
importance of trust and rapport
